Academic "self-defence" sessions on 12.4 Joensuu and on 13.4 Kuopio

The local Association of Researchers and Teachers at Eastern Finland (ITTE) organizes for a special academic “self-defense” session held in English which is intended to provide the international staff with the information regarding:

     - YOUR ACADEMIC RIGHTS and SOCIAL BENEFITS

     - HOW TO ADVANCE IN AN ACADEMIC CAREER AT UEF?

     - HOW TO GET A PAY RISE?

     - HOW TO PREPARE 1600h-WORKPLAN?

     - WHETHER JUST TO DO A RESEARCH OR TO TEACH AS WELL?

You will get some answers to these questions during one afternoon session organized at both campuses:

JOENSUU CAMPUS: 12.4.2016 AT 15.00-17.00 Au204, Antero Puhakka

KUOPIO CAMPUS: 13.4.2016 AT 15.00-17.00 Sn203, Markku Saarelainen

The sessions are open for everyone – also native Finnish participants. Refreshments and lecture materials will be available for participants.
